Over 20 million tons of e-waste are being thrown away in the U.S every year. This contains computer towers considered outdated simply because they cant play the newest games or run the newest operating systems. These towers contain dangerous toxins when improperly disposed of.

- At AWD computing My Goals Are Clear.

• Cut down on the e-waste by fixing and upgrading outdated computers.
• Making affordable (and free) computers and affordable repair available to low income areas,students,and seniors.
• Get kids interested and familiar with computing for their future benefit.
If If you would like to help but don't live in my area here are a few things you can do to help cut down.
• Grab that old computer out of the closet or garage. Open it up and remove the hard drive (If you need help with this id be glad to help or ask any teenager) close it up and drop it off at any college campus,church,or run a craigslist ad or donate it to the teen who helped with the hard drive.
• Get together with your local school,church,community org.
• get together with a few friends and throw a community e-waste drop-off making sure you have proper removal accommodations before hand. This way you can ensure the waste is disposed of properly.
I believe knowledge is truly power and to be informed leads to good judgment.The internet is a wealth of knowledge and a door to a world of knowledge that should not be locked but removed from its hinges for all to experience.Currently I am offering free pick up of e-waste in the Burney,Ca. Area. I am in need of a few volunteers to help spread the word,help upgrading and building computers.If you would like to schedule a pickup,know a family to nominate for a free computer feel free to send me an e-mail.I am not a non-profit I gladly accept donations be it .01 to a pat on the back.
